I didn’t get home till 6am last night and just as I fell down on my futon with hardly enough energy to change clothes the sun was coming up. Granted I’ve been awake till the wee hours of the early mornings but this was the first time I’d really been out so late. Not about to make a habit out of it since I paid for it this morning but man did I have fun!

The wedding was beautiful and I’m really glad that I got to go, despite being incredibly embarrassed by having to admit that the only reason my hand was bandaged was because of poison ivy. Anyway! Jen made a lovely bride, her dress was gorgeous! And I really liked the colors and style of the bridesmaid’s dresses.

For me one of the more enjoyable parts of the evening was seeing the Grooms party (is that what it’s called?) perform that all popular song from Wayne’s World. That was just…way to amusing for words. Plus seeing Mark do the inchworm or whatever it is called, on the dance floor was…different. I’d never seen that in real life.

Anyway! After the wedding seven of us (myself, Steph, Dave, Ray, Mark, Brenn, and I think his name was Randy) all went to Denny’s. I got some hot tea (orange flavored with loads of honey and a touch of cream, delicious) and a slice of peanut butter pie with chocolate. A very good sugar pick-me up. After that we headed off to spend some time at Mark and Ray’s hotel room where Mark attempted to hook up his X-Box and eventually Ray, Steph, and Dave headed off to the lobby for some reason while Mark and I stayed in the room sitting on the sofa and talking. He’s a fun guy and said he’d show me how to do DDR at some point. Awesome!

It was 4am when Steph, Dave, and I started the drive back to Joliet so that I could drop them off at Steph’s mom’s house. Then I had to make the decision on whether I wanted to drive back to my apartment or go and crash in Minooka. According to my Dad the area of Joliet I was in is about equal distance from my place as it is from Minooka so I wound up just heading back to Lemont. After all it was a choice of sleeping in my own bed or sleeping on a sofa while dad was off in Valpo with Jullya. Ugh…

I woke up this afternoon a little after 12pm and made myself some pancakes with boysenberry syrup, my favorite, then sat and talked with Zeet for awhile on aim. I miss him, can’t wait till I get to see him again. At some point, around 3pm or something, I know I called Steph and then called Jen and Ryan to see what was going on but I can’t really remember much of it. All I know is that I was in bed when Dad called around 6:45am to tell me that he was dropping my brother off at a friends house in Chicago and then going to Rush hospital to visit Courtney and Jullya because Courtney’s port had become infected. That really sucks too because she just got a new port put in after her last one removed because of a staph infection. Courtney needs this port so that she can get her IV’s which are needed to help keep her…well alive basically. I don’t know what their going to do if they keep getting infected. Oi.

I guess I went back to sleep then because I found myself waking up around 10pm where I proceeded to do a little clean up around the apartment and then take a small walk. I even made myself some dinner (udon noodles! Yummy!) though I have to admit I’m feeling a little disoriented, must be the weird sleep schedule and all the prednisone I’m taking for my poison ivy. The doctor wanted to give me two shoots, even offered to give ‘em to me in the arm but I started to cry…mostly cause the nurse was a complete...well bitch to be blunt (pardon my language) and the doctor has the worst bedside manner ever, add that to just plain feeling miserable and well I’m sure you know. I feel a bit like a wuss though. After all I can handle giving first aid to a child who has a rather severe cut in the middle of his forehead but I can’t handle two shots going through all my skin and fat to the muscle? :: shivers ::

So it’s 12am and here I sit enjoying some delicious udon and raspberry lemonade while downloading songs from Mippa’s music’s weekly update. I’ve gotta say that Aikawa Nanase is just awesome! I love her song Nostalgia. I must get my hands on the third opening song of Inuyasha. (I've tracked down Owari nai Yume and it is very excellent). I also like the song Kiseki from Takizawa Hideaki. It sounds very familiar but I can’t place it. Like I’ve heard it, or something extremely similar, on an anime once, this is mostly due to the music and not the vocal’s but still… Has it been used anywhere? Does anyone know? Plus I’m very happy because now I have the Japanese version of On My Own from Les Miserables… Whee!!!

Speaking of music… I’m curious does anyone have the English version of Boku-tachi wa Kore Ka (aka ‘Us After This’ ) from Ranma ½? Or any of the Inner Senshi’s singles from In Another Dream cause I only have Rei’s and I’d like to hear the others. If you do, or can point me in its general direction I would be very grateful.

Well I’m off to enjoy some music, finish dinner, then crash for a bit more rest. Tomorrow’s plans consist of calling a co-worker to see how she’s recovering from surgery and then cleaning my apartment. I’ve been lazy for the past week and haven’t put away my clean clothes or thrown out my junk mail.

You Are 35% Normal

(Occasionally Normal)

You sure do march to your own beat...

But you're so weird, people wonder if it's a beat at all

You think on a totally different wavelength

And it's often a chore to get people to understand you

Okay...I've been scouring the net for awhile now trying to find mp3's of Disney songs in forgien languages and have succeded in finding a Japanese version of Winnie the Phooh and an Italian version of A Whole New World which is actually very pretty.

But....

When one finds, as well as downloads, the Japanese version of the Tiny Toons theme song. Then...well one knows it's well past bed time. It’s a little disturbing yet amussing to listen to. Like YMCA in Chinese. I swear...like the icon says it was the bunnies!

15" Alder & Pheonix
You scored 64% Elementality, 100% Magic Knowledge, and 90% Goodness!
Your wand is 15" and rather flexible, The alder is associated with weather magic, mental prowess, and resurrection. This wand will be especially useful in spells concerning those issues. The phoenix is symbolic of rebirth, loyalty, and courage in times of adversity. The phoenix feather in your wand will bring those elements to the party. This is a very powerful and potentially dangerous combination but, based upon your magical knowledge score, I am not worried about your ability to use it. Or maybe I should be...

My test tracked 3 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:

free online dating free online dating
You scored higher than 26% on Elementality

free online dating free online dating
You scored higher than 68% on Magic Knowledge

free online dating free online dating
You scored higher than 99% on Goodness
Link: The Right Wand for YOU Test written by BarefootBegonia on OkCupid Free Online Dating

I scored higher than 99% on goodness... Maybe my friends are right...I do need to do something a little wild. Any suggestions?
