Musical High
Apr. 20th, 2005 10:29 pmBeen checking out some new music, courtesy of my good buddy Mippa (one of my best friends, I call her my best friend in Texas.. :: giggles :: ). She’s got this great music journal going that’s giving me the chance to sample some really good Japanese, Korean, and various other types of music. I’ve got to say I’ve found some excellent stuff on there.
The groups I’ve really gotten hooked on are:
FinKL
w-inds
Sunday Girls
Rabbit
FinKL is a Korean group and I was able to download a good selection of their latest album plus Mippa was sweet enough to share some of her songs with me. Thanks Mippa! I LOVE this group! Especially their songs Now, Don’t Go Away, and To My Prince. The faster songs like Now have the upbeat energy that makes me want to get up out of my seat and dance around the apartment and get busy doing things. I love music like that because it gives me this rush and has the ability to push all my negative feelings and emotions out of the way so I just enjoy myself. Music is soooo therapeutic ya know? :: grins ::
Now w-inds…their just…mmm.. :: smiles :: I agree with you Mippa, they remind me of the Three Lights as well. Now if only I could get my hands on more of their music. I’ve only got two songs Shiki and Kirei Da. Must get my hands on more. Does anyone know where I can buy a CD?
I’ve only got two songs from Rabbit as well, Ai to Yuuki no Roulette and the Ranma ½ ending song It’s Love which is my personal favorite. But I’m told they are an older group so finding their stuff will probably be hard. I also only have one song from Sunday Girls, Hao Xiang Jia Ge Ta. The music really reminds me of the Ranma ½ song Jajauma ni sasenaide…I just wish I knew what they were singing (In the Sunday Girls song, I know what the Ranma lyrics are!)
Gah.. I’m rambling. Sorry can’t help it. I took some allergy meds for the itch and to let me sleep so I’m in a bit of a loony mood. I wish I could describe the music better for you but you’ll just have to take my word for it and try it! Go shoo! I must make dinner before collapsing on my futon. :: chuckles :: It’s still on the floor to…haven’t even bothered trying to find a new frame. Makes it harder to make the bed in the morning but at lest I don’t have far to drop when I fall out of bed.
BTW! I've been scouring the net trying to find even the little bit of the Three Lights music from Sailormoon but to no avail. If anyone has any, or knows where I can get a CD please let me know.
I have however been able to find the French version of the bad North American version of Sailormoon's opening song. Ya know it sounds so much better in French! But listening to Ranma in Spanish? Oooi it's...interesting.
