I’m completely moved in to my new apartment now, its right above a barber shop and I keep waiting for someone to sell me a meat pie. See All About Sweeney Todd if you don’t understand the reference.
Anyway I’ve got dial up for now :: makes a face :: it seems that SBC started my account over at a different address so I’ve got DSL transfer orders pending for two different places which means there is going to be a delay and they don’t know how long its going to take. :: crosses fingers :: Hopefully it wont be to long.
In other news my brother celebrated his 21st birthday on the 6th and Ricky will be turning 21 on the 12th (along with his twin brother Brady). Summer camp is almost over as well, our last day is the 26th and we just had our final swimming pool day today. I’m 50/50 on the end of camp as it will mean a decrees in my hours until November (when a coworker goes on maternity leave and one of the Infant teachers goes to fill in for her while I take the Infant teachers spot) and the main thing is that I really will miss the kids…I’ve had a lot of fun with them this summer! Though I’ve also had a couple of mishaps, like last Friday when I fell into the waterfall we were exploring because I was trying to catch crayfish for the kids… The other teacher is a girly girl when it comes to that kind of stuff so I’m always the one doing the messy tomboy things. The bruises are painful. Not to mention the one starting to show on my cheek from when the can opener fell on my face last night… But that’s a different story.
Nothing else really to say, life has been pretty dull really. Though I do have a slightly off topic question to ask. I’m going to Florida next month and I’m curious if anyone has ever purchased tickets off the internet. If you did how did that work for you and how did you get your tickets? I’m thinking of going with a company called AirTran Airways as they seem to be giving me the cheapest price.
According to the site I can leave on the 22nd of September and arrive in Tampa at 12:12am and then return on the 29th around 6:50pm for a total of $148.30. OR! I can leave on the 23rd at around 9:14am and get there by 2:27pm returning on the 30th at 8:37pm for a grand total of $168.30 It is apparently more expensive to fly on Fridays. But I have to talk with Jules, Justin, and their family to see what works for them.
BTW I have checked other companies… Southwest wants $236.90 while American Airlines wants to take me on flights that’ll last for nearly fifteen hours!
* Note * Dad and I will be getting my ticket online tomorrow afternoon :: crosses fingers :: I will be taking the AirTran flight on the 23rd and I’ll be back on the 30th.. Whee! I can’t wait!
