Oodles of misc stuff

I’m watching the Cubs vs. the Padre’s right now…don’t really care who wins (since the Indians or the Pirates aren’t playing) but I love to watch it, score is nothing to nothing.
So I’m finally getting more hours at work and I’m rather happy about that. Monday we were closed and I got 6hrs vacation pay, on Tuesday I worked 11-4pm (a little ticked about that), while Wednesday I worked 11-6pm and today I worked 9-6pm. Tomorrow I’m working 9-10pm because once every few months we offer a service called ‘Parent’s Night Out’ where we take care of the children after hours so that the parents can go out and have a date. I like doing it for two reasons, the main one is the fact that the parents are so grateful and second yes I’ll admit it is the extra money. Next week I have a 39hr week which has me working the following:
Monday – 7:45am to 12 kids in Infants (we have a ratio of 1 adult to every 4 infants)
2pm – 5pm in School Age (this would be the Summer Camp kids)
Tuesday – 7:15am to 5:15pm for Summer Camp with a 6:15-7:30pm faculty meeting
Wednesday – 7:15am to 5:15pm for Summer Camp
Thursday – 10am to 6pm for Summer Camp
Friday – Same as Thursday
Then on the following week I’ll have a 40hr work week. I’m really hoping that this will continue for awhile because they only hired two summer teachers and one of them won’t be available until the 25th of June which gives me three weeks. After that we still have our Kindergarten teacher out for the summer so someone will need to take her hours. :: crosses fingers ::
Either way I’ll be able to save the money I need for my upcoming vacation! Woot!
Now…on the subject of VACATION! I will be in Florida during the tail end of September from the 23rd thru the 30th. I will be staying with my good friends![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
surreal_life and her brother draco_therin and their parents. I can’t wait! Jules said we can go to Universal Studios and the two of them both said we can see the Beetlejuice show.

The plane ticket will cost me $183.40 and I’ll be flying out at 9:19am on the 23rd and arriving in Tampa at 12:55pm. Then I leave on the 30th at 1:43pm and get home at 3:29pm. The flight is nonstop. Or I can leave Chicago at 3:45pm and arrive in Orlando at 7:22pm on the 23rd. Actually it’s cheaper to fly into Orlando (by $1.50) but the only flight going home that’s in my price range leaves Orlando at 7:36am. Unless I want to leave on the 29th than I would leave at 1:57pm and get back to O’Hare at 3:45pm… Hmm..save a few bucks or spend more time with Jules and Justin… Choices..
In other news I’m going to sell a few of my items on eBay. A small selection of DVD’s (anime of course) and perhaps a Hufflepuff scarf. My Dad is a bit upset with me for wanting to sell the scarf (it’s the one from Alivan’s…since when is Hufflepuff house colors black and orange-yellow?) because he says it’s the only sensible scarf that I won. See he doesn’t like the two I have from Whimsy Wearables (I have one Gryffindor and one Hufflepuff both PS/CoS style) and wants me to sell them instead because they are way to long for me. I happen to be only 5’ 1/8” tall, Dad measured me on Monday actually, and he considers the scarves to be a safety hazard and when I tried to wear them when I lived at home he yelled at me so much… Told me I couldn’t wear them.
Thing is those two scarves are handmade, they are warm, and I really like having them. Yes it’s a pain because their so long but be honest fellow tiny people, you know how hard it is to find any clothes or accessory for people who are height challenged. Plus I also don’t want to sell them becauseauronsgirl and her husband are simply awesome people.
So basically…that was just a rant mixed in with the fact that my DVD’s will be on sale. I will be selling the following:
Volume one of Love Hina
Fushigi Yuugi Seiryu aka the second half (episodes 27 – 52) * there is no box sorry *
Volume 2 of Magic User’s Club!
Revolutionary Girl Utena the movie (with a bonus DVD of previews)

So… I’ve never sold anything on eBay… Jullya has though so she’s going to post things for me. But if you truly want one of the titles listed above then talk to me.
Finally! I’ve got two requests the first one might seem a little strange but…
Does anyone on my friends list read Tarot cards or know someone who does? I’m doing research for my novel and I need some assistance. Please let me know.
Also. The wonderful woman who brings us our lunch at work, her name is Dee, has a sister who is very ill. She is suffering with Breast cancer and on top of that they might have a legal battle with the hospital in Joliet who misdiagnosed her originally. The sister has two young children, one who is about fifteen, and since I was young when my mom was going through her treatments and such I offered to give her any advice she needs or if her nieces and nephews need someone one to talk to who’s been in that situation. But I’m asking you nice people if you can pray for her or at lest keep the family in your thoughts.
