You know I really wanted to write a long update about the movie and what I enjoyed…all that jazz ya know? Thing is I’ve got to be at work for a training at 7am and it’s already 12am so it’ll have to keep. I’ll just stick to the basics.
Had tickets for the 8:50pm showing (for the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy for those who can’t recognize the subject) and showed up at the theater where I met up with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
mkiero. We were both wearing pajama pants with t-shirts as well as our bathrobes. And yes…we had our towels. Woot! We are huge major dorks and got oodles of weird looks (including from the management) but it was all worth it cause after the movie people totally got it (most of ‘em at lest).
So! Here are the main points of the evening:
• Took picture ofmkiero next to the cardboard cut out of Herbie the Love Bug (run people, there’s another one coming) she's standing with her thumb out and it looks like Herbie just snubbed her!
• Ran into an old friend from school who I haven’t seen in years and talked with him and his friends, according to Mkiero he looked enamored with me…I’d like her to elaborate.
• Upon entering Lowes we immediately ran into the parents of one of the infants in my care. This shall make for an interesting Monday.
• Was greeted in the bathroom by a cheerful woman who proclaimed “I totally understand!” as she caught site of our attire, then proceeded to show us to her boyfriend who had brought his towel as well.
• Took picture ofmkiero in front of the poster for the movie with her thumb out, then she took mine.
• Singing dolphins…enough said.
Now I’ve gotta run. Got loads to do tomorrow with only 6hrs sleep. Whee!
