Insanity makes the world go 'round...
Apr. 18th, 2005 07:01 pmI know you’ve all secretly been thinking it for years but feel free to admit it. I’m officially insane.
Why?
Because I’m not making enough money at my current job (I made a little more than $13000 last year, just a little) I’ve decided to go out and get a second job. Now that’s not all that unusual, slightly nuts yes, but common. Especially when you work in child care.
However! Here’s the insane part. I’m applying for another childcare position. As if I wasn’t getting enough punishment from one ya know? Oii… Ah well the center I’m applying at looks to be a bit more laidback then the one I’m currently working at and they do have an infant program. Whee more kiddies to get attached to!
I love kids and for some reason they love me. I don’t know what it is. :: shrugs :: You know I was at a Christmas tree farm and I was hardly there ten minuets before I was surrounded by kids who wanted to show me all kinds of things and play? What am I a kid magnet? Am I walking around wearing a sign that says “Hey kids! Come play and use my body as a jungle gym!” Hmm..okay so it’s really only the toddlers and infants that are climbing all over me but still…
Anyway…keep your fingers crossed that I can get a position with the Mary Sears Children’s Academy. After that…well we’ll see what happens.
Now on to bigger and better things! I can’t wait for Friday! I’m sooooooo happy for Jen and Ryan. These two are awesome and deserve only the best in the world. Plus an added bonus is that an old friend, Stephanie, is coming out to visit. Could it get better? Well I could have some blue raspberry bubble gum but that is a different story all together.
Plus Grandpa is coming out this week and will hopefully bring the couch. He was supposed to visit last week however he didn’t make it out because of complications. My feeling is that Grandma, who has Alzheimer’s, was giving him trouble. I love the woman dearly but my poor Grandfather is at his wits ends… I give him credit for wanting to take care of her. He is a very strong man.
And finally! I’m debating a hair cut after Jen & Ryan’s wedding… I’m getting an up-do (whatever that is) for that day so till then I’m gonna keep it long. But afterwards I was debating going with something similar to Sohma Kisa. She’s just so cute! One of my coworkers says that it would look cute on me and it would certainly keep it off my neck which is something I really hate. Basically it’s just two longer sections, framing the face, and then the rest is shorter. Now granted my hair does not reach my chest like Kisa’s does (for the longer sections) but it can grow! Only problem is Ricky likes long hair…but ya know Courtney is right. I’ve been doing everything I can to make others happy…why not something for myself for once?
So what are your opinions?
Grr...stupid picture wouldn't show...dumb thing don't wanna work for me so follow link...

BTW, if you have another suggestion please provide a picture so that I can see it...plus that way if I choose to go with something else I can have something to show the stylist.
