(no subject)
It's 2am and I'm not hiding nothin behind a cut so nah nah to you.
Ahem... As most of you know I'm one of those people who love very
sugary things, really cute things, romantic stories filled with fluff,
and most importantly things that explode. Uh yeah... Therefore this
makes me out to be a complete sap...so what?
I just got home from the best date that I've been on since...hmm well
ever really. Grant and I met up at Barnes and Noble, went out to
Naperville for bubble tea (very yum!) and dinner
then we drove to the Riverwalk and walked along the path and he showed
me a lot of really neat things. We also went to a Brunswick Zone to
play in the arcade where we had fun with Skiball, a little DDR, a few
of those machines that give tickets to anyone and their uncle, and then
got a giant blue koosh ball which I plan to throw at my Dad and Colin.
I know they'll throw it back but hey it'll still be fun.
Tonight was wonderful. I haven't been that happy in a long time and I
laughed a lot to. Grant is a really awesome person and I consider
myself very lucky to have a boyfriend like him... :: squeals
like a school girl and bounces around :: He's an awesome artist, he's
funny, loves video games, likes kids and animals, understands the
problems with David, and is just a ton of fun. I'm hooked, I can't help
myself, and I can't wait to introduce him to my friends...
I'm drifting off to la la land now so I think I'll leave you with these
pictures. They are both of Grant at the arcade where I was messing
around with the flash on my camera. The first one (where it looks like
he's attempting to throw a pass) is without a flash, the second is
using a regular flash. I tried to use the night flash but it really
didn't turn out...danged thing makes campfires look fricken awesome,
especially in black and white, but doesn't do crud when used inside.
