Does intelligent life exist anywhere?

I’ve expressed interest in a promotion at work and since they like to check inside the center to see if anyone wants a change before asking outside, I know that the toddler support staff is my main competition for the job. The position is for a toddler primary caregiver so cross your fingers everyone. It will give me a guaranteed 40hrs a week and hopefully a raise as well. That way I won’t have to go looking for a second job, at lest not right away.
