Demons and Sweaters

It’s 7:41pm and I’ve only been awake for three hours today. I took some migraine medicine last night along with some cough syrup and I slept all day long! I’m a little disoriented and congested but thankfully my cough has calmed down. Now if only I could completely wake up, I still feel like I could sleep for a few more hours. I’d really like to be awake when Dad gets home though.
I’m rather happy though cause I managed to get all 50eps of Gensomaden Saiyûki off of eBay for $72.50 total. If I’d bought all twelve of the DVD’s at Suncoast it would have cost me close to $400! I love finding deals! Like the time that I got the entire series of Fushigi Yûgi for only $47!
Gensomaden Saiyûki (Saiyuki – Ventilate me with a Handgun) looks like a really entertaining anime. First there’s Son Goku, he’s a monkey demon who’s extremely cheerful and rather empty headed and he's always hungry. Then there is a monk named Genjo Sanzo who likes to smoke and shoots a gun, to Goku he’s the sun… Then there’s a rather lecherous water demon named Sha Gojyo, he’s half human/half demon and really loves women. My favorite is Cho Hakkai who became a demon after he killed 1,000 demons (this was because his sister/girlfriend had been kidnapped by a really nasty demon and he was trying to save her) plus he’s got this dragon that turns itself into a Jeep. I was watching the preview for the movie Requiem that came from my Newtype USA magazine and it looks like a funny, action packed anime. All the reviews I can find for it on the net are really good and the English VA’s are some of my favorites so I can’t wait to watch it. I’m hoping it might even be enjoyable for Aaron as well.
Another reason to be happy… I had a nice long conversation with Autumn last night! I haven’t talked to her in what seems like forever so that was fun. We’ve both been so incredibly busy this entire semester. I’m hoping that we’ll be able to hang out soon cause I still have her birthday present on my writing desk! Sharing the same date of birth makes it easy to remember her birthday, having her live two hours away makes it hard to get the stuff to her. Oh and thanks for posting those pics of the uniforms Autumn! They reminded me that I still need to get a Hufflepuff sweater for my PoA uniform and get to work on my Moaning Myrtle costume as well. Oi…I have no idea how I’m going to do the cloak. Any suggestions?
